We can send our Kit anywhere in the world, or arrange a chain of custody sample collection.
Can a Paternity test be performed while the mother is still pregnant?
Yes, there are two different types of prenatal paternity tests available. 1.) Noninvasive prenatal paternity test (NIPP): This test requieres only a small blood sample from the pregnant mother and a saliva sample (swap) from the alleged father. 2.) Amniocentesis: During amniocentesis, a gynecologist draws out a small amount of amniotic fluid. This procedure uses a needle inserted into the mother’s abdomen. An additional saliva sample (swab) of the mother and the alleged father are also needed.
What is a “Home” Paternity Test?
The only difference to the regular paternity test is the advantage of having the ability to take the samples (swabs) in the comfort and privacy of your own home. The tests and the results are exactly the same as a test performed in a lab.. This test method is standard for more than 20 years . In the United States and Europe,95 out of 100 paternity tests are performed in this way.
